JOBS

We are currently hiring hard working and enthusiastic crew members for the 2026 season! Find job listings and application instructions below.

Blueleg006.jpg

Longer Table Farm is a certified organic farm located in Sonoma County, CA, just ten minutes' drive from both downtown Sebastopol and Santa Rosa. We cultivate 10 acres focusing on production of head lettuce, salad greens, peppers, cucurbits, tomatoes, cut flowers, and various other market crops for wholesale distribution and our farmer’s markets. We aim to grow the highest quality produce by nurturing our soils and the whole farm ecosystem through regenerative farm practices.

Our team is integral to the success of the farm. Most field tasks are done as a team so there are lots of fun times to be had! Days can be long, hot and strenuous so a positive attitude and strong work ethic are musts. We strive to foster our crew members’ passions and strengths on the farm and offer transparency on a profitable small farm business model. All positions include unlimited fresh produce for regular home use and paid sick leave. We do not offer on-farm housing, and cannot accommodate dogs on the farm.

General Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills

  • Interest in farming

  • Upbeat and positive attitude

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, and kneel or stand for long periods of time

  • Reliable personal transportation

  • Ability to work outside daily, including in inclement weather (heat, smoke, etc.) with proper protection

  • Willingness to commit to the full season

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Willingness to be flexible, work long hours on occasion, and apply oneself where needed

We are expanding our operation with the addition of a new property in Hopland this year! The following positions will all be based in Santa Rosa in 2026. We will continue to farm the Santa Rosa site in 2027 and beyond, but Hopland will become our main farm and home base after the 2026 season. For year-round positions, this means that there is potential to stay in Santa Rosa after this season, though our staffing needs in Santa Rosa will be more limited than our needs in Hopland.

We are hiring for several management positions this year so that owners Will and Gina can focus their efforts on developing the new farm in Hopland. Our management needs can be divided in a number of ways, so we’ve outlined a variety of potential positions and will hire for the roles that best align with applicants’ strengths. This means we will not be filling every listed position, but are including options to tailor to the right people.
